Jallianwala Bagh

“With 1650 bullets, the nation was eternally wounded.”

The soil of India is drenched and covered with the blood of thousands of lives who were killed at the Jallianwala Bagh. Their valour will inspire Indians for the years to come. Today, as India commemorates 104 years of the incident the bloodstains continue to scream; the helplessness of our own people remains haunting and their sacrifice will always be remembered.

On 15th April, the students of IHS paid tribute to the martyrs who had sacrificed their lives in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre that took place on 13thApril at Amritsar by engaging themselves in various activities. Grades V-VI created a corner wall. Sketching, Paper Presentation and Quiz on Jallianwala Bagh were planned for Grades VII-VIII, IX- X and XI-XII respectively.
