Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas. ~Calvin Coolidge
The significance of Christmas is known to people all over the world. Though it is true that Christmas is celebrated as the day of the birth of Christ, yet it also symbolizes a very deeply significant truth of the spiritual life. Jesus Christ is the very personification of Divinity. He was born at a time when ignorance, superstition, greed, hatred and hypocrisy prevailed upon the land. In the midst of these conditions, Christ was born and He worked a transformation in the lives of people. Thus a new era dawned for the world.
The young ones of Nursery- Grade II celebrated this joyous festival in school by engaging in different crafts related to Christmas. Students made and decorated Christmas trees, made reindeers and reindeer photo frames. The spirit resonated through the school with Santa Claus’s visit and his HO! HO! HO! Rang through the classrooms and corridors. A special assembly on Christmas was presented by the students of Grade IV B.
Wishing you a season that’s merry and bright with the light of God’s love.
