“Writing is an act of faith, not a trick of grammar.” ~E.B. White
This time of the year is perfect for teaching children about gratitude and recognizing all of the things for which they can be grateful. Children of Grade III made a ‘Thank You Card’ by using vegetables and paint colors as part of their ‘Creative Writing’ and they thoroughly enjoyed the activity. They gave the cards to their loved ones that touched their hearts. This activity helped them in connecting with their writing skills as well as with their creative side. Drawing a picture provides a writer the opportunity to plan, develop new ideas and to express ideas. These pictures then flow into words.
