World Tourism Day is celebrated to raise awareness on the importance of tourism and how it affects the social, cultural, political and economic values internationally. It is the global observance day fostering awareness of tourism’s social, cultural, political and economic value and the contribution that the sector can make towards reaching the Sustainable Development Goals, as stated by UNWTO. Celebrating the diversity of this day, students of Nursery- Grade IV were engaged in different activities- recognizing and make collages of flags of different countries, understanding the culture of some states of India and some countries across the globe. They were highly interactive sessions were the children were keen to share their own experiences of different places they had visited.
