The last day of the Book Week had a range of intra class competitions across all grades. Nursery students were engaged in a puppet making activity and they further used it to make a short story of their creativity. The little ones of Kindergarten had a Story Narration Competition where they connected the story to the theme of the month- Roti Ki Kahani. Twist a Tale, Collage Making, Story Narration using puppets, From the Dead- with authors and poets coming alive, Then SUDDENLY competition- completing the story with a dramatic end and presenting book trailers were competitions across Grades III- IX.
At the end of the week, the quote by Dr. Seuss was proven true...”Reading can take you places you have never been before.” The students experienced drama, suspense, laughter…all through their imagination and creativity that was provided through the magic of books and stories.
