“Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.” ~Neil Gaiman
Day 3 of the Book Week had lots of high energy and enthusiasm. Story Narration by parents was done in Nursery and KG- some of the stories shared were- The Honest Woodcutter, The Ant and the Grasshopper The Magical Umbrella and Be Healthy and Rabbit Ears. Students of Grades I and II were engaged in Intra Class Competitions and Grades III- IX had Inter House Competitions. The young ones of Grade I got an opportunity to narrate a short story that was conceived by them and Grade II worked on presenting comic strips to showcase their story. Grades III- V had an interesting competition where they had to present a Fairy Tale in a Tray and Grades VI- IX participated in Scene It- an enactment from any Shakespearean play. Needless to say that the House Wardens, House Teachers and participants, all gave their best to their house. The competitions were judged by Ms. Kakul Ahmed and Ms. Renu Narang.
