English Enrichment Fun – Grade II

Kicking off Chapter 1: The Caterpillar with a nature walk in the park – feeling, seeing, hearing, and smelling the beauty around us! 

We watched a video on nature, followed by a joyful recitation session – first with the teacher, then as a choir! 

Rhyming scheme? Explained & explored!

Life skills? Absolutely woven in. To check understanding, we did a fun comprehension activity, and then things got even more exciting...

As an extended activity, we learned about metamorphosis and created the life cycle of a butterfly on paper plates!

Our little stars ended the day with a role play of a caterpillar turning into a butterfly – chrysalis, pupa, and all!
