"One of the first conditions of happiness is that the link between man and nature shall not be broken." — Leo Tolstoy
At Imperial Heritage School, we proudly kicked off Environment Week with a burst of enthusiasm and creativity across all grades. Our little environmentalists in Nursery crafted beautiful Olympic Leaf Wreaths, while LKG students created cheerful Happy Earth crafts using sponge dabbing. In UKG, children explored textures and greenery through the All About Nature activity by decorating the word “EARTH” with real grass.
Students of Grades I and II took meaningful pledges to protect the planet by writing their promises on hand-cutouts and adding them to our vibrant Environment Pledge Wall. Meanwhile, our energetic Grade III to V students participated in a fun and educational Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Relay Race, learning about waste segregation in the most active way possible.
Grades VI to VIII engaged in a Plantation Drive, learning about the names and uses of medicinal plants, deepening their appreciation for nature’s healing power. Finally, the senior students from Grades IX to XII led the way with an impactful E-Waste Collection and Awareness Drive, encouraging responsible disposal of electronic waste at home and school.
Day 1 was filled with learning, creativity, and eco-consciousness—setting the tone for a week dedicated to nurturing a greener, cleaner planet.
