The students of Grade XII were recently engaged in a subject enrichment activity focused on the topic :Types of Money. This activity is directly related to the NCERT Economics Curriculum under the chapter Money and Banking. The students categorized money into its different forms and also explored the rise of digital currencies and cryptocurrencies. They depicted how each type has been used historically and its relevance in today’s global economy. They learned to make connections between traditional forms of money and the emerging trends in the financial world. Students gained a comprehensive understanding of monetary systems, which aligns with the curriculum’s objectives of fostering analytical skills and real-world economic knowledge.
