Cyber Awareness Session on Cyber Safety at Imperial Heritage School, Sec-102, Gurugram
In an effort to promote digital responsibility and online security, Imperial Heritage School, Sec-102, Gurugram organized a Cyber Awareness Session on 20th February 2025 for students of Grades V-VIII. The session was taken by NGO Give Back to Gurugram in support with Cyber Police Gurugram and sponsored by PayTM. The session aimed to educate students about the importance of cyber safety, ethical online behavior, and ways to protect themselves in the digital world.
The session was conducted by Sub Inspector Mr. Mohit from Cyber Police Gurugram and Mr. Tushar from Give Back to Gurugram and covered crucial topics such as password security, phishing attacks, safe social media practices, and the risks of cyberbullying. Students were also made aware of online threats like identity theft, data breaches, and harmful content, equipping them with practical strategies to stay safe while using the internet.
Through engaging discussions, real-life case studies, and interactive Q&A sessions, students gained valuable insights into recognizing and preventing cyber threats. The session also emphasized the role of strong passwords, multi-factor authentication, and responsible digital footprints.
The students actively participated, asking relevant questions and sharing their experiences. The session concluded with key takeaways on being responsible digital citizens and reporting suspicious online activities.
