On November 26th, our school celebrated Indian Constitution Day, or Samvidhan Divas, to honor the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1949. This day reminds us of the core values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity that are enshrined in our Constitution.
Students participated in a reading of the Preamble and engaged in activities to deepen their understanding of this important document. Senior-grade students researched the key milestones in the making of the Indian Constitution, followed by a presentation and a meaningful discussion on its significance.
They also explored the 5Ws of the Constitution: Who, What, When, Where, and Why, through a creative poem-writing and reading activity. The day also featured poster-making, where students expressed the ideals of the Constitution through their artwork.
A human chain formation reflected on the fundamental principles that guide our nation, highlighting our rights and duties as citizens of India.
