World Immunization Day

Immunization is a primary component of health care and an indisputable human right. Vaccines have saved millions of lives and have emerged as perhaps the most cost-effective health intervention in human history.

World Immunization Day is a global healthcare awareness event observed on the 10th of November every year. It is celebrated to raise awareness about the importance of vaccination.

To mark this important day students of IHS participated in the following activities:

Students of Grades VI-VIII prepared charts related to 5 vaccines, their importance, disease they protect us from, the correct age of administration and other relevant information.

Students of Grade IX and XI prepared a presentation showcasing the importance, types, challenges and recent developments of immunization.
