The students of Grade 7A presented a General Assembly on the theme of Tsunamis. During their presentation, they highlighted the catastrophic effects of tsunamis and emphasized that while these natural disasters cannot be prevented, the damage they cause can be minimized with greater awareness, preparedness, and vigilance.
They discussed the importance of being familiar with government-issued tsunami warning systems, knowing the location of nearby evacuation points, and always having a well-prepared Tsunami Emergency Kit in hand. Additionally, the students explained the essential contents of the emergency kit and demonstrated how each item plays a crucial role in ensuring safety during such events.
Through their presentation, they aimed to raise awareness about practical measures that can help save lives in the face of a tsunami.
