Celebrating World Post Day at IHS! From Nursery to Grade IV, our students had a blast learning about the importance of post offices through hands-on activities.
Our little ones created postcards, stamped them, and even posted them in letterboxes created in the school premises. They enjoyed seeing their teachers all dressed up as post masters and related the activity to the theme of Community Helpers.
Grade III and IV students visited a real post office to see how letters are sorted and delivered. They explored various departments, including sorting, stamping, and delivery, and observed how letters are categorized and processed for delivery. This visit helped them understand the vital role post offices play in connecting people, giving them a deeper appreciation for the intricate workings of the postal system.
A fun and educational day that helped them appreciate the art of communication and the postal system!
