The students of Grade VIII conducted a vibrant and insightful assembly to celebrate the festival of Dussehra 9th October 2024. Dussehra, also known as Vijayadashami, signifies the triumph of good over evil. 

Ravana, known as the greatest devotee of Lord Shiva and one of the wisest figures in mythology, was brought to life by the students through a dance drama that depicted the divine powers he received from Lord Shiva. The assembly included a skit that depicted the story of Lord Rama’s victory over the demon king Ravana, highlighting the importance of values such as courage, patience, and righteousness. A compelling monologue was performed that explored the profound challenges faced by Lord Rama, who is revered as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Vibrant dance and music performances celebrated the glory of Lord Rama, captivating the audience with its rhythmic movements and melodic tunes. 

Students also creatively brought to life the 10 societal evils and the essence of Dussehra, inspiring positive change and reflection. The assembly concluded with insightful guidance from Principal Ms. Neelu Sharma ma’am, emphasizing the need to overcome the ten evils that afflict our current society, symbolically representing the heads of Ravana, which present significant obstacles to our collective advancement. The assembly received widespread applause, reflecting the students' tireless efforts.
