World Animal Day

Celebrated on October 4th, World Animal Day raises awareness about animal rights and welfare, encouraging us to protect animals and their habitats. It’s a day to promote kindness towards animals, conservation efforts, and the importance of protecting wildlife for future generations.

At IHS, our students embraced the day with a variety of creative and educational activities:
Nursery:

Learned about animals and their habitats, choosing their favorite animals and placing them in their homes.
Grade LKG:

Crafted origami elephants, learning about wildlife conservation and the need to protect these gentle giants.
Grade UKG:

Participated in a fun story narration using puppets to bring "The Lion and the Hare" to life.
Grade 1:

Made animal masks of their favorite animals, encouraging creativity and understanding.
Grade 2:

Created vibrant animal masks and performed a delightful act using them.
Grades 3 & 4:

Crafted origami animals and paired them with powerful slogans promoting wildlife protection.
A day filled with creativity, compassion, and a deeper appreciation for our animal friends! ?✨
