"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others."  – Mahatma Gandhi

To honor Mahatma Gandhi’s legacy, students across Nursery to Grade IV engaged in creative and educational activities that reflected his values of truth, non-violence, and self-sufficiency.

Activities included crafting charkhas using paper, ice cream sticks, and matchsticks, introducing them to the symbol of the Swadeshi movement and block printing on khadi cloth and bags, emphasizing the importance of using indigenous products. Inspired by Gandhi’s famous monkeys, 'See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil,' students created and coloured their own monkey figures to reflect on these values. Other activities included crafting projects based on Gandhi’s three principles, creating the Gandhi Charkha to highlight self-sufficiency and freedom, and making vibrant posters that showcased Gandhi’s values of peace, non-violence, and truth.

These activities deepened students’ understanding of Gandhi’s teachings and how they can incorporate these values into their lives.
