Concent Reinforcement of Large Numbers
In the Math class, students of Grade IV A and IV B made an abacus using clay and toothpicks. The purpose of this activity was to reinforce the concept of large numbers, as already taught. The students were easily able to display 6 and 7- digit numbers on the abacus as the teacher called them out. They also made their own numbers and asked their peers to read out the number displayed on their abacus.
