Storytelling is the heartbeat of childhood, nurturing imagination, empathy, and a lifelong love for learning.
Storytelling plays a crucial part in child development. From fostering imagination to teaching moral values, stories are an integral tool in the early years of learning. It enhances language skills, stimulates imagination, and creativity, and improves concentration and listening skills.
Students of Pre Primary engaged in different stories like The Enormous Turnip, A Magic Pot, Lion and the Hare, The Honest Woodcutter, and The Golden Touch through enactment and props. Story Boards carried another set of stories and the students loved standing outside the classrooms, trying to understand the stories as they went by.
They took great delight in the story sessions as they were transported to magical worlds filled with adventure and wonder. The excitement of discovering new characters, and interactive elements like sounds, actions, and visuals makes the experience even more engaging and captivates their imagination.
