“Technology is not just a tool. It can give learners a voice that they may not have had before.” ~George Couros
There’s no denying that technology has helped advance the human race, but technology can also amplify the negative aspects of human nature. Information Technology, more than any other invention of our time, has had a profound impact on nearly every aspect of our lives. Students of Grade I and II celebrated ‘National Technology Day’, which is observed on 11th May every year. This day celebrates the achievements and contributions of Indians to science and technology. It aslso serves as a reminder of India breaking into the elite group of nations with nuclear weapons.
Students of Grade I, fresh out of Kindergarten, completed a worksheet on the different parts of a computer and students of Grade II prepared models of different technologies and presented their features. It is amazing to see how well- informed the young ones are about technology and can definitely teach the adults a thing or two about a new feature.
