'The science learning goals of laboratory experiences include enhancing mastery of science subject matter, developing scientific reasoning abilities, increasing understanding of the complexity and ambiguity of empirical work, developing practical skills, increasing understanding of the nature of science, cultivating and many more.' 

In the above context experiments related to the evaporation and distillation methods of separation of insoluble impurities from liquid were performed and explained in Grade VI.These activities helped learners to understand the application of the these methods or techniques in our daily life to get pure drinking water and distilled water as well.
