The evergreen forests and medicinal plants of Manipur are invaluable resources that contribute to the ecological health and cultural heritage of the region. Protecting and sustainably managing these natural assets is essential for the well-being of both the environment and the local communities.
As a part of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Activity, students of Grade VII displayed models of evergreen forests, vegetation and wildlife of Manipur. They also discussed about a few medicinal plants which are considered an integral part of the traditional healing practices in the region.
