“The environment is where we all meet; where we all have a mutual interest; it is the one thing all of us share.”
~Lady Bird Johnson
On the third day of Environment Week age- appropriate, interactive educational activities were planned for our little ones to learn and adopt ways by which they can learn to care for Mother Earth and realize that if the problem is caused by them, then they themselves must find ways to save it. The little ones of Nursery made a ‘Mini Greenhouse’ using vegetables and the Kindergarteners did a craft activity- ‘Pick up Trash’. Children of Grade I and II made ‘Hanging pots’ and ‘Bird Houses’ using waste materials. This event was conducted to bring such ideas to students and to help them think themselves on such ways of reusing everyday materials that will not only reduce the waste but provide them with useful household products.
