“Direction is much more important than speed”.
National Education Policy 2020 encourages experiential learning which empowers students to learn through immersive experiences and real-world applications of concepts. This approach fosters a profound understanding of the subject matter and enhances long-term retention. While studying the chapter Know Your Planet, students of Grade V discussed about the different directions and also explained their uses in our day to day living. Making learning more engaging, they also wrote names of cardinal and intermediate directions on circles and aligned themselves accordingly representing each of these directions. Through this activity the students understood the exact location of the directions.
