I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers - so many caring people in this world. ~ Fred Rogers
Pre Primary Wing studied the theme- Community Helpers in EVS and were engaged in a plethora of activities. In circle time, they made real life connections and spoke about the different helpers that they interact with in their daily life. Ofcourse, the most favourite were the teachers. Appreciating the hard work that they all do, students made Thank You cards for the helpers that they had around in school. They also creatively made a mask of a policeman.
Tell Me and I Forget; Teach Me and I May Remember; Involve Me and I Learn. Students also participated in the Intra Class Show and Tell Competition on Community Helpers. They dressed up in the chosen helper’s costume and spoke a few lines on them.
In a celebration of community and the invaluable individuals who contribute to our daily lives, the teachers organized a vibrant Community Helpers Puppet Show. The session aimed not only to educate but also to engage students in interactive and enjoyable experiences that highlighted the significance of various community roles. Teachers played a pivotal role in guiding students through the puppet show, fostering a sense of appreciation for the diverse contributions made by community helpers. By combining education with interactive experiences, the event not only celebrated community helpers but also instilled a lasting understanding of their vital roles in shaping our society.
