We do not need magic to change the world, we carry all the power we need inside ourselves already: we have the power to imagine better. ~ J.K Rowling
As we returned to the old routine after the pandemic, Imperial Heritage School celebrated its II Annual Day on 10th December 2022, with great zest and zeal. A rainbow of colours unfurled across the evening sky as the stage vibrated with excitement. The Chief Guest for the evening was Mr. Sat Prakash Rana, former Member of Delhi Legislative Assembly of the Bijwasan Constituency, and the Guest of Honour was Mr. Virendra Singh, District Development and Panchayat officer, Haryana Civil Service and were given a floral welcome. The evening was also graced by Mr. Satpal Dahiya, the school Chairman, Mr. Yogesh Dahiya, the school Director and Mr. Sumit Dahiya, the school Vice President. The Annual Report was read out by the Principal, Ms. Neelu Sharma, as she addressed the gathering.
The first edition of the school magazine, Abhyuday- which means to walk on the path of growth, was also released. This magazine is a reflection of the culture of our school, as it mirrors the creativity and imagination of our students.
The performance- Aasim, The Mighty Protector, was a mega success which left the audience awe struck. The play carried a message of victory of good over evil. While the forces of evil are great and terrible, but the forces of truth and love, courage and honesty, generosity and sympathy are also stronger than ever before. It is important to realise that as long as the world shall last, there will be wrongs and if no man objected and no man took action, those wrongs would last forever. The students got an opportunity to showcase their talents in acting, singing and dancing. It was a complete collaborative effort and the children lent their hands wherever they could. Be it teachers or students- everyone put in their best and stretched to their maximum limits to ensure that the second Annual Day was a notch higher than the previous one.
