The heart of Science is measurement.
The quantity of matter in an object is called its Mass. The students of Grade III did an activity on Mass where students were told how to measure the mass of an object on a weighing scale and how to read mass written on every item. Learning by doing makes learning last longer and the students understood the concept clearly as they weighed each item.
