First day of the new academic session and the corridors finally rang with the happy voices of the children. The teachers were happy to welcome back the children and the children were happy to be back to the place they call their second home. The day was carefully planned out- with introductions and activities. The teachers first and foremost explained how everyone needs to be safe and what protocols need to be maintained in school. Children were equally enthusiastic to share the knowledge they had been told by their parents. All children were engaged in the first day activity and yet they maintained the social distancing. Those who preferred online classes also participated in all the activities, but did miss not being with their friends.
Happy faces and smiles galore was the gist of the first day back at school.
